Finding your passion in life – Is it really important?

by admin on September 19, 2012

I’m sure you have heard of the saying “Love what you do, and you’ll never have to work a day in your life!” countless times before. To some it may seem like a cliché, or a very cheesy way at looking at life. But when you really think about it if you love what you do, it won’t ever feel like work. This is the reason why finding your passion is important.

When you were a child what did you imagine yourself doing? Did you want to be a doctor? An actress perhaps? Or running your own business? Look at your life now. Were you able to achieve those dreams or did you even get close to achieving those dreams? Most of us lose track of finding a niche because of the factors that reality hits us with.

As we grow, factors affect us like – how to pay the bills or not being able to go to school or being too busy. All of these hinder our journey towards finding a niche. This won’t be such a big deal at first, but later on you will start to feel empty and go back thinking about the life you had in mind for yourself.

Do you find yourself dreading the fact that you have to wake up and go to work again? Or do you find yourself jumping from one job to another and never finding fulfilment or satisfaction? Take a moment to pause and listen to the voice within. This may be your big wake-up call that you need to start discovering your passion.

If you feel stuck in your life or do not love what you do, you may not notice it but that dissatisfaction can have a strong effect on other aspects of your life. You may find yourself grumpy at home or taking out your regrets towards your loved one. On the other hand, if you are in love with what you do and you are in perfect sync with your work you’ll be surprised at how easy it is for you to operate.

We all have unique God given strengths and talents, we owe it to ourselves to use it in the most productive way possible. Are you ready to find your passion and actually do it? Are you ready to find the courage to live up to what you truly want to do and get a refreshing start in life? To kick start the niche process, take a moment to complete the following phrases.

  • If I had the freedom to do anything I want, I would…
  • I never had the courage to pursue my dreams because…
  • What I would like to experience the most in life is…

We’re interested to know how you completed the phrases above, please feel free to share on the comments below. Finding your passion is not an easy process, but with our great support system the process will flow better.
