Getting Started on the Niche Process

by admin on September 19, 2012

Discover your niche then act on it and you will be on your road towards success. It all seems like an easy formula to live by, but in reality the niche process is not an easy one to start and complete. You will be faced with several factors that could hinder you from finding a niche, but keep in mind that it all starts with awareness followed by a strong sense of determination to get through.

Listen to your inner voice

When you were a kid, surely you’ve imagined what you want to be when you grow up. Usually these dreams and aspirations are brought about by our inner voices. As a child, these voices are loud and are not influenced by other’s opinions. But as you grow up, our inner voices are slowly shut down because we listen more to the voices that other people instil in our minds.

In order to find your passion, take a moment to start listening to your heart. Set aside reason and just listen to what your inner voice is trying to tell you.

Step out of your box

Usually it is in the routine and monotonous tasks that we do each day that we lose sense of what we truly want. To aid you in discovering your unique expressions, step out of your comfort zone and grab opportunities that speak to you. When you are out of the safe comfort zone, you can be opening your doors to various opportunities, talents and ultimately your niche.

Talk to people close to you

Sometimes your unique expression is usually something you are blind about. You may not know it but you may have been ordering the same flavour of pizza every Thursday. It seems random, but other people may have taken notice and have something to say about it.

So aside from just listening to your inner voice, try talking to people close to you. Let them tell you what they think about you. Any observations or ideas they have of you. Sooner or later you will be able to get a collective idea of how people see you that you are absolutely oblivious to. And once you’ve pieced it together with how you see yourself, it may help you find your niche.

These are just some ideas on how to find your passion. Finding your niche can bring about enormous success especially if your follow through accordingly. The niche process is never easy, which is why we are passionate in supporting you on this journey.

It’s not enough to say that you want to find your passion, the important part is facing the challenge head on and acting on it. Are you ready to make a start today?

I’m sure you have heard of the saying “Love what you do, and you’ll never have to work a day in your life!” countless times before. To some it may seem like a cliché, or a very cheesy way at looking at life. But when you really think about it if you love what you do, it won’t ever feel like work. This is the reason why finding your passion is important.

When you were a child what did you imagine yourself doing? Did you want to be a doctor? An actress perhaps? Or running your own business? Look at your life now. Were you able to achieve those dreams or did you even get close to achieving those dreams? Most of us lose track of finding a niche because of the factors that reality hits us with.

As we grow, factors affect us like – how to pay the bills or not being able to go to school or being too busy. All of these hinder our journey towards finding a niche. This won’t be such a big deal at first, but later on you will start to feel empty and go back thinking about the life you had in mind for yourself.

Do you find yourself dreading the fact that you have to wake up and go to work again? Or do you find yourself jumping from one job to another and never finding fulfilment or satisfaction? Take a moment to pause and listen to the voice within. This may be your big wake-up call that you need to start discovering your passion.

If you feel stuck in your life or do not love what you do, you may not notice it but that dissatisfaction can have a strong effect on other aspects of your life. You may find yourself grumpy at home or taking out your regrets towards your loved one. On the other hand, if you are in love with what you do and you are in perfect sync with your work you’ll be surprised at how easy it is for you to operate.

We all have unique God given strengths and talents, we owe it to ourselves to use it in the most productive way possible. Are you ready to find your passion and actually do it?
